Aims of the course

The aim of this course is to empower Arabic teachers with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools needed to manage student behaviour effectively. The program is designed to help teachers create positive, structured, and engaging classroom environments that foster student motivation, participation, and collaboration, while promoting a love for learning Arabic. 

Intended outcomes
  •  Design proactive behaviour management routines that minimize common behavioural issues and maximize learning time in Arabic lessons. 
  • Discuss different positive reinforcement and empowering classroom techniques to increase student motivation, accountability, and active participation. 
  • Conclude fast and effective intervention strategies that foster a structured learning environment and smooth classroom flow without losing instructional time or student respect. 
  • Adapt behaviour management techniques to suit different age groups, learning abilities, and needs. 
  • Conclude best ways to strengthen classroom culture that promotes respect, collaboration, and a positive attitude toward learning Arabic.  

الأهداف ونواتج التّعلّم: 

  • تصميم روتين استباقيّ لإدارة سلوك الطّلاب والحدّ من المشكلات الشّائعة لزيادة وقت التّعلّم الفعّال وعدم تعطيل سير الدّرس في حصص اللّغة العربيّة. 
  • مناقشة تقنيات التّعزيز الإيجابيّ لتشجيع مشاركة الطّلاب الفعّالة، وزيادة الدّافعيّة،  وتحمّل المسؤوليّة. 
  • تصميم خطّة استباقيّة لإدارة السّلوك والتّدخّل السّريع والفعّال لخلق بيئة تعلّم إيجابيّة تعزّز الانضباط الذّاتيّ وتقلّل من السّلوكياّت الصّعبة دون فقدان السّيطرة على الصّفّ. 
  • تكييف تقنيات إدارة السّلوك لتناسب مختلف الفئات العمريّة، والقدرات التّعليميّة، واحتياجات الطّلاب من المتفوّقين وذوي الصّعوبات الخاصّة. 
  • استنتاج أفضل الطّرق لخلق بيئة صفّيّة تقوم على الاحترام، وتعزّز الانضباط الذّاتيّ، والتّعاون، والرّوح الإيجابيّة تجاه تعلّم اللّغة العربيّة.

This practical and interactive workshop provides hands-on learning experiences designed to equip and empower Arabic teachers with modern, culturally responsive strategies for effective behaviour management. Through engaging role-plays, real-life classroom scenarios, group discussions, and collaborative exercises, participants will explore best practices for preventing and addressing behavioural challenges, gaining skills they can apply immediately. 

Over the course of this five-hour training, teachers will acquire ready-to-use tools, structured routines, and age-appropriate classroom techniques that minimize disruptions, foster a positive and respectful classroom culture, and encourage student motivation, accountability, and active participation. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave confident in their ability to create classrooms where students thrive academically and socially while enjoying the process of learning Arabic.
