The classroom is a cauldron of Personalities and understanding these have been shown to support teaching and learning in the classroom. Once we understand the different personality of the students, we can identify the effective ways to build relationships, communicate and get best behaviour. The course is a different way to build relationships with pupils. I have worked with many schools in the UK around True Colours in the Class with great feedback. This course is a different way to build relationships and deal with Behaviour in the class.
True Colours is a fun model of personality identification that is easy to understand, remember and apply. It distills the elaborate concepts of personality theory into a user-friendly, practical tool to foster productive relationships and success.
True Colours is based on 4 key personality types:
Blue: I am compassionate, a peace maker, a natural romantic. I like to do things that require nurturing, caring etc.
Gold: I an conventional, a pillar of strength, a sensible backbone of any group. I need to belong.
Orange: I am courageous, I act on a moment’s notice. I have high energy and movement is important to me.
Green: I am conceptual. An investigative mind, easily intrigued. I value knowledge, research and problem solving.
