  • Explore practical self-regulation and stress-management strategies for sustainable teaching
  • Experience simple movement, breathing and relaxation practices that support teacher wellbeing
  • Develop tools that support emotional resilience and energy management during the school day

Laura is an educator and yoga specialist with over 25 years of experience working with children and young people, including 20-years in the international sector. She specialises in movement-based learning and nervous system regulation, helping educators use creative, evidence-informed strategies to support children’s focus, well-being and learning readiness. Her trainings are known for being highly practical, engaging and immediately applicable in real classroom environments.

Teaching requires constant emotional engagement, responsiveness, and decision-making, which can place significant demands on educators’ wellbeing. 

This practical workshop helps teachers understand how stress and nervous system demands impact wellbeing, resilience and classroom climate. 

Participants will explore evidence-informed self-regulation strategies, including movement, breathing, and relaxation techniques that support energy, nervous system health and sustainable teaching practices. 

Educators will also explore how teacher regulation supports co-regulation and positive classroom environments for students.
