Target audience

Teachers, Middle Leaders and, potentially, Senior Leaders preparing for upcoming inspections 

Aims of the course
  • To empower classroom teachers and heads of department with strategies to manage time and workload during inspections.
  • To provide practical tools for planning purposeful, low-stakes lessons that align with inspection criteria while maximising student progress. 
  • To demonstrate how to use data effectively to inform teaching, monitor progress and showcase impact. 
  • To streamline inspection preparation into meaningful, high-quality teaching and learning practices that benefit both students and staff. 
  • To build confidence in leading and teaching with clarity and purpose during inspections. 
Intended outcomes
  • Equip teachers with strategies to reduce workload and focus on student learning through live, in the moment, reactive and adaptive teaching.
  • Teach smart planning techniques that balance inspection requirements with impactful teaching and learning. 
  • Demonstrate how to design purposeful low-stakes lessons that engage students, take the pressure of the teachers and continue to tick key inspection boxes.

Presently occupying the esteemed position of Head of Languages at Repton Abu Dhabi, Sarah assumes the responsibilities of BSME Lead for MFL, alongside her role as MFL Network Lead for the Repton Family of Schools.
