About Me

Riaz Jamadar is a dedicated and skilled counsellor and educator, committed to helping every student achieve their full potential. With a strong emphasis on pastoral care, he creates a supportive environment where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to excel. I focaus on nurturing. Riaz has completed a Train the Trainer programme and can deliver Advanced Safeguarding courses, including Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and general staff training. Drawing from his experience as a senior personal advisor for young people in the UK, as well as roles as a Deputy Housemaster at a British International boarding school and Student Advisor, he works collaboratively with Heads of House and DSLs on managing pastoral and safeguarding issues. Riaz’s background ensures a proactive, informed, inclusive approach, promoting a school culture where student well-being and safeguarding are prioritised.
