Jon is an educational consultant, executive coach and SEND mentor who has conducted over one hundred plus reviews in secondary, primary, middle, first or special schools. Jon has worked/led projects in Education Opportunity Areas and in Wales. He co-authored the SEND Review of the State of Guernsey and Alderney and was the lead for secondary and special schools in the Inclusion Review of the State of Jersey. He has also researched, designed, and planned a 25- hour provision to offer schools an alternative to the Pupil Referral Units in Wiltshire. He is supporting leaders across the country and has 200 plus hours of experience coaching leaders. Jon is an improvement partner in a special school. He is published in the nasen connect magazine, Sec Ed and Primary Headteacher. He started teaching in London (1996) and has been a school leader since his second year of teaching. He became a senior leader in 2004 and has worked in mainstream and SEND settings. He has led: Teaching & Learning; Curriculum; Professional Development; Student Services and SEND; Data and School Improvement and more. He is also a trained British Schools Overseas Reviewer, PP and SEND reviewer, DSL and DSL Supervisor. He has also written a Level 2 course specification for EDEXCEL, an been a Challenge Partner Reviewer
