Caroline Mckee has significant experience in education in a range of countries including the Middle East. She has led training in all of these countries and fully understands their contexts. She is an experienced lead inspector and has been involved in over 300 inspections in England. As a consultant, she has worked as a school improvement partner supporting schools to improve and helped an IB school in Dubai to be identified as the first IB school to gain an outstanding grade.
Caroline has a deep interest in developing middle leaders as they are the engine room and key drivers for all schools. Crucial to the role are skills in self-evaluation, effective monitoring and ensuring that there is a key focus on developing the teaching skills of their staff. She is experienced in a grass roots approach to developing teaching and learning in schools, and her work is to empower the learner whether that be student, teacher, or leader. She is skilled in developing leaders’ abilities to get the best out of their staff using emotional intelligence, knowledge, patience, and good humour.
