About Me

Simon Mann is a qualified leadership trainer with 16 years of international school leadership experience. He provides bespoke programmes covering all aspects of well-being, student welfare and child protection and safeguarding in schools. This work spans coaching school leaders, developing bespoke programmes for individual schools and working with school leadership teams. This training is based on serious self-harm protocols and guidelines, crisis management procedures, positive psychology and British Standards for Crisis Management. As a facilitator who has dealt with a number of highly challenging self-harm issues the two-day programme provides a first-hand insight into how schools and school leaders can prepare for the challenges of leading schools through issues relating to students at high levels of risk. Through applying these protocols and guidelines to real scenarios this work will prepare school leaders to support the needs of key stakeholders and themselves through events that are emotionally challenging, unpredictable, and complex.
