About Me

Iain Smith first entered the classroom in 1991 as a volunteer teacher in Tanzania, East Africa. Realising how much he loved teaching he subsequently trained at the University of Cambridge, Homerton College, gaining a PGCE in English and Drama, before teaching at secondary schools in the South of England. In 2007 he set up his own coaching and training company and is in demand delivering to schools and businesses across the UK and abroad. Iain provides management and leadership courses, either in-company or on days open to individuals. As a leadership coach, he works one to one with members of the leadership team. Iain’s focus is on the interpersonal skills that allow individuals to flourish in the demanding education sector. These personal skills impact so much of our day-to-day working life and determine our personal and professional success. Opportunities for training sessions are few so it is vital the training is top quality, enjoyable and has impact. Iain is known for his warm and humorous style, and ability to convey complex ideas in an easy to digest and simple to implement manner. His training courses consistently get fabulous feedback.
