About Me
Brendan Routledge taught for 17 years in schools, holding a number of posts including Head of Year, Head of Mathematics, Head of ICT and member of SLT. In 1997 he was appointed to the post of Advisory Teacher and then Content Manager with Suffolk LA. He became manager of the LA’s curriculum website and helped schools to develop their own online learning resources. In December 2004 Brendan founded Suffolk Education Consultants and works with school and LAs across the country and abroad. Brendan has provided consultancy and training to E2BN and other RBCs. He has been involved in the development of many projects including Cookit, Discovery Box, the E2BN Gallery, the BETT Award nominated Myths & Legends and the recent silver award winning ‘Risks and Rewards’ project in conjunction with ING Bank.
He has taught degree courses in animation, web design and digital storytelling for Anglia Ruskin University. He is a tutor on the Suffolk & Norfolk SCITT programme, ranked as a top ten training provider in the UK, where his work was graded ‘outstanding’ in two successive Ofsted inspections. He has also been a tutor on the BCS ‘Digital Creator’ qualification, delivering training across the UK as well as in The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Ireland and Dubai. Brendan also works as an instructional designer and has helped author training materials for the Honda Motor Company.
Brendan is a tutor for the UK NCCE, is a STEM Associate Facilitator and an accredited trainer for Purple Mash, Smart, Espresso and Seesaw.
